Not Just Stories..!

There are a lot of things that I never gave a serious thought to, in my life before. One of these are the recently happening Story telling sessions at my workplace. Since childhood, my only motive of listening to a story is just for the sake of listening. I have, honestly, neither taken any learnings, nor any other takeaways from stories have worked for me. But, recently, there has been a different aspect to the story telling sessions, that I am going through at my workplace, as mentioned. What this session is all about is- we all share a story with others, that might be close to our heart or has been/can be beneficial to our lives in some or other way.

The last session of story telling was a learning for me, not only from the narrator's life, but also from the lives of each one of us who are working together for almost two months now. There is always one thing in your life which you strongly believe in, come what may! For some it is their gut feeling, for some its hard work, for others it is luck...everyone has a different aspect of their life in which they firmly believe in. For me, it has always been God,the Supreme Power, as they are called. I always have been listening to Him whenever I have to make decisions in my life or I have to find directions to make those decisions. The same is for others. Everyone has a belief, which they abide to and has helped them in taking some big decisions of their lives. These might not be of importance to us, but if you give a thought, they will have an impact to your own life somewhere too.

There are lot of things in our lives, which help us in growing as an individual; some of these might have a minor impact, but they can't be ignored. These somehow help in making you move forward in life, or should I say, make you go one step further and  for me, I found some of these minor things working for me unconsciously, by today's session. Finding logic in every little incident in the life, believing in destiny and also believing in the fact that "whatever happens, happens for good"-are some of the small theories which I do believe in my life, but I never thought that they have helped me in making some important decisions of my life. I am sure most of us will fall in the same category. We might not accept it in the first take, but when given a slight thought, we'll realize that there are several such things/ theories that have an impact on our lives some way or other. We might not directly relate to that, but there'll be some incident in your life, where you'll be able to relate it, minutely even.

Beliefs like "Working hard to get what you want to" give you a sense of motivation somehow; I can't say for how long that sense of motivation will stay, but if it stays, it will be beneficial for sure. On the other hand, beliefs like "conspiracy theories" make you wonder that how can something like these unsolved mysteries have an impact in one's life and this element of surprise is what actually puts you in the thought process. In some time, after measuring all pros and cons, will let you think-Yes, some of unresolved facts can actually make you take those decisions which, otherwise, you would never take.

So to cut short, or the phrase I use the most-in the nutshell, there is a lot which you believe in and there is lot, which others can make you believe in, in the course of your life; what matters is-the importance we assign to them and the way we can make these beliefs work for us. If not anything else, they'll definitely add a sense of wonder to your thought process and trust me, that does wonders, eventually! :)

Take it or not but our believes and certain experiences rules our life.
