Painting Love

It's calm as the morning sea,

It's wild as the evening waves in the ocean;

It's serene as an infant's smile,

It's fun-filled as a child's play;

It's plain as an old portrait,

It's colorful as a new painting;

It's distant as a long road to village,

It's close-by as the park outside home;

It's silent as the stars in the night sky,

It's loud as the chirping of birds in the morning sky;

It's beautiful as the first ray of the rising sun,

It's pleasing as the last ray of the setting sun;

It's assuring as the footprints in an empty desert,

It's re-assuring as the small trail in the mountains;

It's fierceful as the mountains up in the country,

It's vast as the ocean surrounding the lands;

It's pure as my love,

It's divine as your love!

For you, my Valentine!

Distance can't keep us apart,
Because it's just the start;

We'll keep on moving to and fro,
Because we have a long way to go;

I pour out my heart along with my soul,
Because my life now has only one goal;

I'll hold you tight & wrap you in my arms,

Love is that urge to wait for sunrise, love is that happiness to see the sunset;

Love is that happiness to see the mountains, love is that craziness to enjoy the rains;

Love is that sudden plan to go out, love is that surprise gift to give;

Love is that happiness to cherish with people, love is that craziness that makes you different;

Love is that unending series of tales, love is that desire to create new stories;

Love is that strange thought of mind, love is that weird way you think;

Love is that unsaid care for others, love is that unheard concern for all;

Love is that kiss on the forehead, love is that kiss on the heart;

Love is that when it keeps you going, love is that when you let it go....!!!

I didn't say it

I saw that tinkle in the eyes....but I didn't say it

I felt that happiness in the heart....but I didn't say it

I heard that excitement in the voice...but I didn't say it

I read those conversations happening in the eyes....but I didn't say it

I felt that hesitation in the heart....but I didn't say it

I heard that shivering in the voice...but I didn't say it

I saw you walk the mile....but I didn't say it

I felt you touch the heart...but I didn't say it

I heard you share the smile...but I didn't say it

I saw it....I felt it....I heard it..........but I didn't say it!!

It started with..

It started with that smile......stayed there for a while...

It started in those eyes....conveyed a lot more than just the advice...

It started with that voice....remained till the heart let it recognize...

It started with those words....stayed there as loud echoes...

It started with that touch....where words could not convey much...

It started with that heart....stayed there till I called it a heart...!!

Travel on my Mind

I see those mountains....that make me speechless and leave me awestruck, the moment I see them!

I see those pines and figs....that make me drool over the greenery everywhere!

I see that roadside tea stall....that makes me want to hold a hot cup of tea and get lost in the beauty around!

I see those waterfalls....that make me wonder at the ferociousness of the water flowing down the hill!

I see that camera....which is calling me out in that unheard voice to pick it up and capture it all!

I see us....sitting together and wishing that we never have to go back from here...!


I see those beaches, I see those oceans, I see that small coffee shop, I see that small bookstore, I see this part of the world and I see that part of the world....!!

And the only thing I say is 'Travel on my mind'...!!
